Because we understand the significance and financial commitment of investing in commercial properties, we work hard to make sure the investment is sound by providing our clients with a thorough understanding of the building’s condition. All of our commercial building inspections meet or exceed ASTM Standard E2018-01 for Property Condition Assessments and include the following components:

We use cutting-edge technologies, such as thermal imaging, to better assess roofs, commercial
building envelopes, electrical, plumbing, and other critical components of commercial buildings.
In accordance with industry practices, a standard commercial building inspection does not include the inspection of trade fixtures, such as refrigeration units, coolers, commercial grade ovens, and stoves.
After a thorough commercial building inspection, we should be able to provide answers to the following questions:
- What condition are the building’s systems and components in?
- What costly defects are present and require immediate attention?
- What items will require repair, maintenance or replacement?

Reports
ThermoPhotos’ Building Inspections provides a comprehensive narrative-style written report, which includes digital photos (and if available thermograms) of pertinent items. A summary report is provided with each commercial building inspection to highlight areas that are of special or immediate concern.
